In My Cart-- The Spice VoxBox

Once a month I like to share some of the new products I've tried out.
Recently I got a SpiceVoxBox full of all kinds of goodies from Influenster to try out for free. It had all sorts of things from beauty supplies to snacks. Here's what I thought of a few of the items. Would love to know if you've tried any of them out!

SinfulColors SinfulShine Nail Polish

Description: Bold, Vibrant, Unexpected and Irreverent! The Colors You Crave at the Price you Love!

Price: 1.99

The Yay: It went on smooth and dried fairly quickly on a humid day. The top coat was nice as well. I love nail polish but my work is hard on my hands. Sinful Colors actually held up fairly.

The Nay: The color I was sent was a bit uninspired. It's pretty much my skin tone with some glitter flakes. Not my style at all. I wish they'd sent something a littl emore bold and vibrant especially since that's one of the talking points.

Verdict? I'd totally buy this. I actually PLAN on buying some next time I hit up Walmart. I want to try some of the other colors that'll suit my style and personality better.

Yogi Tea

Description: The Yogi collection combines over 100 exotic spices and botanicals from around the globe to create 60 delicious varieties of green tea, herbal tea and black tea that are formulated with both flavor and purpose in mind. From the citrusy and floral Green Tea Super Antioxidant to the sweet yet spicy Bedtime tea, all Yogi teas are made with organic ingredients, many of which are certified organic.

Price: 3.99ish (at Walmart)

The Yay: Easy to find and delicious! Growing up I remember being at my grandparents and them making tea in the evenings. Most of the house lights out and just the stove light glowing while water heated for tea. It's such a warm snuggly memory for me and as an adult tea became a comfort. So I like trying them out but most of the time I just stick to my regular blackberry sage. I was curious to try this one and, dang, it was pretty good! I tried the Yogi Sweet Tangerine Positive Energy version. It was really nice. Smooth with a little citrus bite. It had a nice hint of sweet to it too without having to add any sugar or honey.

The Nay: Hrms. I really don't have one. I guess maybe that all the varieties aren't available at my grocery store. They only have three types in stock.

The Verdict? I'm in! I'm going to try out some of the versions my grocery stocks. The price works for me, the flavors worked for me. And I like the name. lol

The Yay: These are great. I've had their brand before and liked them. From the fun tube shape and the crunch to the light flavor. It's nice getting extra veggies into the daily food log and since I'm TRYING to be better at what I eat but still want the snacky side dish with a sandwich or such it's a great option.

The Nay: If you're looking for a flavor punch these probably aren't the ones for you. They've got a subtle flavor. It's not bad but it's also not BBQ or Cheddar Cheese Lays or similar.

The Verdict? Yeah. I'm a fan of these :D I've bought em before. I'll buy em again.

SoapBox Coconut Shampoo & Conditioner

Description: SoapBox empowers our consumers with the ability to make the world a better place through simple, quality purchases. buy one & we give one. For every product sold, a bar of soap or a month of clean water is given to a person in need.

Price: $5.99 per bottle

The Yay: I love the concept of the company and that for every purchase they do some good in the world. The product itself was nice too. I tried the Coconut Shampoo & Conditioner. They're large bottles so definitely worth the cost and they did good things to my hair. It's getting longer and with that a lot of the volume disappears and my waves end up pretty straight. This stuff boosted the volume like crazy and gave me some nice waves without doing anything at all. I went to bed with damp hair and in the morning just a little finger combing and I was good to go. I was pretty impressed with that. It stayed fluffed then slowly over a couple days straightened but still looked nice.

The Nay: I didn't love the scent. It really didn't smell like coconut to me and had a more medicinal scent to it. It wasn't offensive but wasn't and OMG I need this all the time type thing. It won't keep me from using it though.

The Verdict? I'm loving this company already. The product was nice, I love their cause and that this one bottle of shampoo will result in a month of donated water via their partner company. The product is cruelty free (big thing for me since I'm a vegetarian and animal supporter), vegan, and it's made in the USA. You can also see where your bottle/product is helping the world. There's a code on each bottle that you input on their website and it'll tell you about the project that bottle earned a donation for.

Have you heard of or tried any of these products before?
