Alright so gist of it is that Laurie and Ethan met 10 years earlier when he was a rookie cop and hauled her drunk, underage ass off a beach and sent her home. Being a bit of a wild child she propositioned him. He was like girl you need to grow up. Check back with me in 10 years. I think my only complaint, really, would be that I so wanted to see more of the heroine 'on the job'. She's a baker and noms. Yeah I would have liked to see a bit more of that.
All in all, Hard Compromise was sizzling, sensual and full out sexy. I'll be snapping up Becks entire backlist as soon as I can.
