#AFTH2015 w/ Lilah Pace--Grapefruit Prosecco Punch to get you through the holidays ;)

Ooo Lilah Pace is here today. Yall she wrote one of my favorite romances this year--Asking for It. It was...quite the read! And her first foray into dark romance. It was fascinating and very very hot and one that'll push boundaries a bit since it focuses on rape fantasy. But gah...give it a go. I was blown away. And so dang excited to have her joining us today.

Yall check out her post and give her a warm welcome! ~anna

First, a true confession: I didn't make up this recipe. It comes from Real Simple magazine, which ran it a few years back. The ingredients looked so unlikely to me that I had to try it--and since then, every time I've served this punch at a party, I've received rave reviews from guests who are eager for more.

Another good thing about this punch: It's incredibly simple to make. The recipe requires only five ingredients and two steps, so you'll have plenty of time to prepare and serve this and yet still enjoy your party. Who needs extra hassle during the holidays?

YOU'LL NEED
6 cups of grapefruit juice2 bottles of prosecco2 cups elderflower liqueur (I used St. Germain)1 grapefruit, thinly slicedfresh mint leaves to taste, up to 1/2 a cupA pitcher or punch bowl that holds at least one gallon
Up to 12 hours before serving: Mix the grapefruit juice and elderflower liqueur, then give the flavors time to blend while this chills in your fridge. (You don't need the entire twelve hours; in my experience, anything over one hour is fine.)

Time to serve: Add the prosecco, the grapefruit slices and the mint.

And pour.

That's it! This punch looks gorgeous, with the vivid pink color, the red and gold of the grapefruit slices, and the green of the mint. The prosecco gives it a lithe bit of fizz. And while it's strong enough to make sure the festivities stay, well, festive, it's unlikely to send anyone under the table. (Unless they drink the whole thing...and it's so yummy, they might try!)

Dark fantasies. A chance encounter. A dangerous agreement. Lots and lots of orgasms. #YesPlease

Graduate student Vivienne Charles is afraid of her own desires—ashamed to admit that she fantasizes about being taken by force, by a man who will claim her completely and without mercy. When the magnetic, mysterious Jonah Marks learns her secret, he makes an offer that stuns her: they will remain near-strangers to each other, and meet in secret so that he can fulfill her fantasy.

Their arrangement is twisted. The sex is incredible. And—despite their attempts to stay apart—soon their emotions are bound together as tightly as the rope around Vivienne’s wrists. But the secrets in their pasts threaten to turn their affair even darker...

Reader Advisory: Asking for It deals explicitly with fantasies of non-consensual sex. Readers sensitive to portrayals of non-consensual sex should be advised.

Lilah Pace is a pseudonym for a New York Times bestselling author, so she can’t give away too much about herself here, but she has lived everywhere from Italy to the United Kingdom before putting down roots in the American South.
She’s addicted to Diet Coke, loves her dog, and daydreams about several British movie stars (though usually no more than two at a time).
And while it took her a long while to get up the courage to write books, now she hopes she’ll never stop.
