Hi. My name is K. Bromberg and I’m the author of the Driven series and the Driven standalone novels. I’m a momma of (3) kids (ages 9, 7, and 5) and so this time of year is especially busy in my house with the magic of Christmas.  I try very hard to keep the aura of Santa alive and well in my house because of the following story about my childhood:

For me, it all comes back to when I was 8 years old. I told my Mom that I didn’t believe in Santa Claus anymore despite the continued pursuit of Christmas magic in our house (boot prints on the floor, half-eaten carrots on the floor from the reindeer, elves’ nose prints on the sliding glass door). The next morning I woke up to a stocking full of coal (er, rocks painted black). And my sister’s was FULL of presents. I think I was in shock. My chubby little body has never moved so fast to the front door to empty my stocking out of the rocks. (Little did I catch that the black painted rocks were being dropped right back into a pile of rocks that looked the exact same sans the black paint). So from then on I believed. I still believe. And I try to give my kids the same sense of belief in all of the holidays and characters associated with them….

So tell me, why do you still believe in Santa Claus?

A Hot Racer. His Feisty Wife. And an unexpected turn. You need to see what happens next. #ACED

One moment. Six years ago.

The night she made the world around me so much more than just a blur. Now it's the catalyst that threatens to tear us apart.

Our happily was supposed to be ever after. So why do I feel like it's slipping through my fingers?

How can one moment, when our world seemed so right, resurface and cause our perfect life to spiral out of control?

I can't lose her.

She's my checkered flag.

New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author K. Bromberg writes contemporary novels that contain a mixture of sweet, emotional, a whole lot of sexy and a little bit of real. She likes to write strong heroines and damaged heroes who we love to hate and hate to love. She’s a mixture of most of her female characters: sassy, intelligent, stubborn, reserved, outgoing, driven, emotional, strong, and wears her heart on her sleeve. All of which she displays daily with her husband and three children where they live in Southern California.
