This one was...interesting. I saw it on another blog and though hmmm I'm gonna have to try that.
It's pretty simple ingredient wise.
And, well, step wise too. lol Just combine and heat.
Then serve up with crackers/chips/pita bread. Really whatever you'd like to use.
It wasn't bad. I didn't use the Mesquite version of beans since I'm a veggie and I don't think those are "Anna safe" so I used the veggie version. I'm thinking it was a bit less flavorful because of that. So it was a tiny bit bland. But I think maybe adding some salsa in would have helped. Not sure.
But really it wasn't bad for a quick dip. I'd be willing to give it another go :)
Aaaaannnd the second round went better I think. I used cheddar cheese and added some salsa to the mix and it vastly upped the flavor and was much more enjoyable. So a good one to mess around with until you get the right combo for you :)

Recipe Baked Bean Dip (for printable recipe click HERE)
1 Large Can of Sweet Mesquite Grillin' Beans from Bush's
1/4 Cup Sour Cream
1 Cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese. (or cheddar)
Salsa (optional)
Green onions (optional)
- Mix it all up in a bowl
- Heat on the stove until warm
- Serve with crackers/chips/pita/etc
