Memes! New Books, Adaptations, Waiting on Wednesday!

There's a whole slew of memes in this post so you might have to scroll down just a little to get to the one you're looking for. 😸

Oh my gosh. It is so freaking hot yall. It's MISERABLE in the south. We did finally have rain tonight. Yay! We've had a total of .79 inches of rain for all of July. And it all fell within one hour tonight. smh It's been brutal.

Lots of house stuff. Lots of blog stuff. Lots of authorly work stuff. It's been busy and I'm ready for like 8 naps in a row. lol But first...we meme!

I picked up a few pretties this week, too!

New Review Books

I snagged one e-review book-- Ride It Out.

And was sent The Vatican Princess for review consideration. It does look interesting so I'm going to try to fit in in, I think.

(plus my new purse lol)

Purchased

And I picked up four freebies.

Won!
Oh and I won a book--Duke with Benefits-- from Debbie over at The Reading Frenzy. It looks so good! And a new to me author :) Thanks to Debbie and St Martin's!

What I'm Reading

I LOVE McKenna and her blue collar heroes. And this series has been pretty fantastic. It's NOT an MC series. They're just best friends that like to ride. So far it's pretty good! I'm about halfway through.

This Week's Spread!

I thought I'd start sharing my weekly bujo spreads in this post :)
The heat is making me snarky, yall. And maybe a little stabby.

While TTT is on hiatus I'm joining in on the Book Blogger Hop hosted by Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer.
Do you read tie-in novels to movies or television series? If so, which ones?
I'm thinking no. None that I can recall.
The only books I've read that are also tv/movies came before the tv/movie.
I tend to like to keep my watching and my reading separate.

Why I'm Waiting:  Yummy covers and sexy athletes. Yes, please! I do love Jaci Burton and her Play-by-Play series. It's one of the first I picked up years ago. This is out in September. It's not the last of the series and dang what a missed opportunity for the title! That would have been an AMAZING last in a series title for a sports series.
Nathan Riley is ready to follow in the footsteps of his famous football player father. He’s been drafted as quarterback for his dad’s former team, and his sports future is bright. When his friend Mia Cassidy moves to the same city, their years-long friendship suddenly sparks hot, reminding him of the one night they had together in college that he can never forget.

Like Nathan, Mia is from a sports dynasty family and embarking on an incredible new career—as founder of her own sports management company. Her friendship with Nathan means everything to her, and tossing sex into the mix again could jeopardize it all. But the chemistry between them has always sizzled, and it isn’t long before Mia realizes she wants more with Nathan than just late-night talks and pizza.

Passion has a funny way of changing the rules, and soon Nathan and Mia realize that to win it all, they’ll have to make an unexpected play for love.
