A to Z Challenge-- Cock-ified Art

there was a girl. Who lived in a home with no color.

The walls...were all "eggshell white".

She longed for color. Her soul begged for burgundy, cucumber essence, cinnamon. Sage, richy red, and lily pad green. Sea foam, rust, and Tuscany orange.

One day...she got her own home.

And color....EXPLODED!

There was a whirl wind of paint brushes and color swatches and sheer delight.

A Realtor's nightmare? Oh,yes.

But her soul... her soul rejoiced!

And then her mother and grandmom came to visit. lol

So the first time they came to the new house there was silence then an...well, it's interesting. <awkward smile>

Bless em. They've since ventured away from eggshell white but my house still gives them nightmares.

For weeks after that visit I kept getting things in the mail from my grandmom.

"I saw these hand towels and thought they'd look so cute hanging on your bathroom wall." 

"Anna, here's a painting someone gave your granddad. I thought you could hang it in your bathroom." 

"I found these the other day. Wouldn't they look great in your bathroom?"

Catching a theme, yall? lol

Yes. That's how my grandmother came to send me a cock painting. Bwahaha!

Total win for her. Got this out of her house and covered more of my bathroom walls that just horrify her. 

I love my cocks!

It's traditional Polish folk art called Wycinanki and dates back to the 1800s which I think is pretty neat and is actually layered paper. 

So. That's my C post. <grins>
